Naples Yellow Pastiche (Hue):The first challenge in creating a perfect Naples Yellow was to figure out the correct shade for this color. Looking at the mineral Bindheimite, you will see a yellow that moves from earthly orange to a pale, lemony shade. Throughout the world, there are many different pigment recipes for making Naples Yellow. We used PY53 because this pigment behaves similarly to genuine Naples Yellow and varies in color from warm to pale.
