Description
Add an extra “punch” to Walnut Ink drawings with Tom Norton Ultra Dark Brown. This fadeproof, watersoluble darkening medium makes a better choice than India Ink, which tends to sacrifice Walnut Ink’s watercolor characteristics and limits the ability to lighten areas or lift color. Because the acid-free, archival darkening medium is heavily pigmented and made with the same binder as Walnut Ink, it can be added to or mixed with Walnut Ink without changing its original working properties.
Tom Norton Ultra Dark Brown can be used straight from the bottle, but it will behave more like a sumi ink by staining the paper and not lifting as easily as Walnut Ink.
