StudioSolv® Artists’ Oil Thinner (16.9oz) with Da Vinci Air-Tight Brush Washer Set -contains a purified, odor-free oil-thinning medium. StudioSolv® is designed to thin oils and mediums while maintaining the integrity of your color. Add sparingly to your oil paints, and experiment with different ratios to find the consistency you prefer. Although aromatic solvents have been extracted to remove odor, adequate ventilation should be practiced for safety. StudioSolv’s flashpoint of 144°F classifies it as a combustible liquid by DOT regulations, which is safer than flammable solvents that have lower flashpoints, and faster evaporation rates.
The Da Vinci Air Tight Stainless Steel Brush Washer is designed to take 500ml (over a pint) of solvent and have plenty of room for sediments that might fall below the interior cleaning grate. The removable internal cleaning grate helps loosen paint and keeps clean solvent above its holes so you can constantly reuse it. The specially outfitted gasket on the lid is solvent resistant to maintain an air-tight seal no matter what cleaning agent you use. Positive action latches on three sides, ensuring the lid stays shut while traveling. Use in the studio to avoid exposure to solvent fumes.
