STAEDTLER Watercolour Pencils and Crayons are water-soluble and can be used dry or wet. The crayons and pencils are perfect for shading and many other effects. You can quickly and easily spread the water-soluble colour with a damp brush on wet or dry watercolour paper. STAEDTLER Watercolour Pencils have a slight tint of graphite in each colour. When used dry, the pencils have a soft and subtle nature. Adding water awakens the rich intensity of the colour while still retaining its muted graphite character.
