SoHo Extra Soft Pastels are perfect for creating rich, vibrant works of art! The creamy colors glide across most papers with no resistance and blend beautifully. One of the great features of these pastels is their remarkable opacity. The intense pigmentation ensures excellent covering power, allowing you to reveal hidden colors by applying several layers and scraping back the top layer of pastel.
Our 9″ x 12″ SoHo Oil Pastel Pad contains high-quality, durable, fine canvas paper ideal for working with oil pastel and water-soluble media. The top of each sheet is imprinted with a soft, uniform woven texture that grabs and holds onto oil pastel color, much like canvas. The heavyweight paper has no irregularities and is tough enough to withstand wet color blending, paper scratching, and scrubbing. A sheet of glassine is sandwiched between each sheet to prevent transfer, smudges, and smears.
