Schmincke Liquid Charcoal and Liquid Earth colors are ideal for creating clean, dust-free paintings, drawings, and underpaintings. The 3 distinct charcoal colors are made by charring fruit seeds in barrels, while the Liquid Earth colors are made with natural pigments mined in Germany.
Liquid Charcoal and Liquid Earth paints don’t muddy other colors, so they’re perfect for underpainting and mixed media. Color can be applied thickly on smooth paper to make intentional smudges or thinly brushed onto textured paper to create a more refined look.
