HORDAM Naturals are high-quality, environmentally friendly watercolors. With a palette of 16 matte and mostly semi-transparent colors, the Naturals paints are a hybrid of gouache and watercolor paint. You can mix the Naturals with traditional watercolor and gouache paints for more color variety.
Amazingly, HORADAM Naturals are made exclusively from natural earth and plant-based pigments and extracts. Exceptional earth pigments produce precious colors like Lalvarit violet and Caucasus earth. The lightfastness of each pigment corresponds to its natural characteristics.
100% vegan and naturally formulated
The natural pigments are sometimes slightly coarser in texture, which – unlike gouache – results in a rougher, usually slightly granular surface effect. The colors aren’t stiff but don’t flow as easily as traditional watercolor.
