Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolor – Kamala, 15ml Tube
Kamala is a semi-opaque orange-yellow ochre with natural graininess and good lightfastness. The Kamala pigment?is extracted?from the glands and tufted hairs of the fruits of the monkey face tree.?
The natural pigments are sometimes slightly coarser in texture, which – unlike gouache – results in a rougher, usually slightly granular surface effect. The colors aren’t stiff but don’t flow as easily as traditional watercolor.
