Description
Designed for use with all Schmincke Oil Paints, Schmincke Flake White Hue is a lead-free alternative to the classic Cremnitz White. Instead of toxic lead, it is formulated with a combination of titanium and zinc white pigments ground in purified safflower oil. The result is a warm, semi-opaque white shade with a lower brightening effect than titanium white. When mixed with other oil colors, Flake White Hue has the effect of improving flow and imparting a smooth, buttery consistency. It also accelerates drying times and increases the durability of the color layer.
Can be combined with all Schmincke oil paints and mediums.
