Old Holland Claessens Oil Primed Belgian Linen Canvas starts with 100% Belgian linen, made exclusively from natural flax. The linen is prepared with two coats of oil primer for a primed weight of 11 oz. per square yard. Each coat of primer is applied with a knife, and the canvas is allowed to dry for three days between coats.Once primed, the canvas is stretched around robust 13/16″ stretcher bars and back-stapled to the frame for optimum strength.
