The frame molding has a 3/4″ face, 1-1/8″ rabbet depth and a 1-1/4″ profile depth. The rabbet depth of the molding is 1-1/8″ and is the recess on the back inside edge of the frame where your artwork rests. (Note: measure the depth of your artwork, including any matting materials to ensure that everything will fit within the rabbet depth of the frame. Each frame pair is sized by the opening length, not by the outside of the molding. To choose the correct size of the frame, measure the outside of your work, including mat, and order those two frame pairs.)
