Jacquard Methocel Marbling Medium – 8 oz Bag

Methocel is a synthetic thickener used to prepare a marbling bath for paper or fabric marbling. It creates a viscous surface that allows colors and patterns to float. Many artists choose Methocel because it lasts longer than natural thickeners and stores well in a refrigerator between marbling sessions.

Methocel is also used to size paper and slow the drying time of PVA glue.

Basic Mixing Ratio
