Jacquard Basic Dyes are bright, vivid, easy to use dye powders perfect for dyeing hard-to-dye substrates. Initially developed for acrylic fibers like faux fur, wigs, and yarn Jacquard Basic Dyes are also great for dyeing wood, reeds, straw, paper, leather, and hemp! You can use the dye to color potpourri, wigs, buttons, furniture, and more.You can even create your own custom alcohol ink colors by adding some of the dye powder to Piñata Claro Extender.
Basic Dyes can be used to dye fibers such as silk and wool; however, they tend to have poor light and wash-fastness on fabric. Basic Dyes offer some of the most vibrant and intense colors available for any fiber and are easy to use.
The set includes eight 0.50 oz jars of Basic Dye powder in the following colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown, and Black. Contents in the set may be substituted without notice.
