Holbein DUO offers a whole line of mediums to enhance the Duo Aqua line of water-soluble oil paints. Duo Aqua Oil Color is an artist-grade water-soluble oil color that offers the same lightfast and archival pigments found in traditional oil paints. The Holbein laboratory adds a surfactant that coats the molecule of the DUO linseed oil, which permits water thinning and soap & water clean-up. DUO Aqua is compatible with all media such as traditional oil color and mediums, watercolor, gouache, acrylic gouache, and traditional acrylic paints.
