An elite line of brushes, Hamburg did not set out to be as good as mongoose but to be better. There is no mongoose hair in these brushes. It is a proprietary handmade blend skillfully crafted by hand by a world-class German brush maker that traces its roots to the 18th Century. Each brush has nickel plated brass ferrules with bristles that are hand cupped, tied, and glued. The brush cleans easier and more completely due in part to the synthetic filament content, easily coming back to shape for the next painting session.
