Ideal for increasing flow when a more fluid mixture is desired, Golden Open Acrylic Mediums are formulated to a lower viscosity than Golden Open Acrylic colors. In addition to maximizing the working time of Golden Open Acrylics, Open Mediums can be used to adjust color strength and translucency while maintaining consistency. Open Mediums are also useful for lowering the viscosity or Heavy Body colors and for creating a fluidity that is ideal for intricate, detailed brushwork.
