The Faber-Castell TK 9400 Clutch Pencil Lead Holder is like having a re-usable, refillable wood pencil that will never sharpen down to a nub! It’s a great tool for drawing, sketching, drafting, and writing. The plastic hexagonal barrel offers a comfortable ergonomic grip and a weight similar to a wood-cased pencil. Many artists prefer the ribbed plastic grip over the metal grips of most lead holders.
The powerful jaws of this mechanical pencil hold the thick 2 mm. lead securely in place while you draw. To let down more lead, click the cap while holding your hand under the point to catch the lead and push it to the desired length. Comes with an HB 2 mm. lead to get you started, but you can fill it with any 2 mm. diameter graphite or colored lead hardness you prefer. For convenience, keep several on hand filled with different lead hardnesses.
