Envirotex Lite is polymer that produces a durable, resilient, glass-like finish on a variety of surfaces. This clear epoxy coating is designed to be poured onto a horizontal surface.Many artists use Envirotex Lite to coat artwork used in public displays for the protection of their work. A thick coat will magnify any surface and bring out the beauty of the work—once finished, simply wipe clean. It cures to a thick, glossy coating in about 8 hours at 70°F, and reaches full strength and toughness in about 48 hours. This durable, resilient material requires no polishing to produce a high gloss. Envirotex Lite is waterproof as well as heat and alcohol resistant. One coat is all that is usually required for a deep attractive finish; however, two or more coats may be applied one over the other by simply wiping the surface with a clean cloth and alcohol prior to recoating. Eight ounces will cover an area of two square feet.
