Da Vinci Maestro Kolinsky Miniature Brush Sets are the perfect gift for yourself or anyone else who enjoys painting tabletop figures, tinware, porcelain dolls, and other miniatures. Each includes three brushes in an assortment of useful sizes as well as a wooden holder with an open center that allows the brushes to dry evenly.
The soft kolinsky hairs have a snappy bounce and a sharply pointed round shape that allows for highly precise strokes. Their excellent water-holding capacity is ideal for working with watercolors, gouache, India ink, and oils. A corrosion-resistant, nickel-plated brass ferrule secures the hairs to the short wooden handle, which is crafted from sustainably sourced European wood. The handle is tumble-finished in glossy lacquer for added durability.
