A single pigment opaque bright green with a strong blue undertone. The cobalt green pigment, also known as Rinman’s green, was discovered in 1780 by Swedish chemist and mineralogist Sven Rinman, when making a compound of cobalt and zinc. The pigment is magnetic at room temperature.
