Centurion LX Acrylic Primed Linen has an even surface texture and a medium 11 oz weight designed for acrylic painters. Each yard of Centurion Linen is primed with two coats of naturally absorbent acrylic gesso. Unlike cotton, linen has long fibers that resist deterioration for at least 5 centuries and as much as 2,000 years with proper care. Our woven linen has a lovely even texture that holds up better than machine-made cotton canvas. Perfect for all media, you can stretch the linen on stretcher bars or mount it to a wall. Centurion’s new colossal 30-yard roll is sensational for painting large-scale murals. The double-primed acid-free linen is suitable for oils, acrylics, and alkyds.
