Cardinali has taken the traditional plein aire frame and made it better. Instead of heavy wood and plaster, they use lightweight renewal core, a material known for its durability. As a result, the frames are light yet strong and rigid, so you can easily hang and install the frames by yourself.
Cardinali Plein Aire frames complement all art, from traditional watercolors to abstract alcohol ink drawings. The 2-3/4″ wide moulding has a raised edge and an inner groove that adds emphasis and directs the eye toward your artwork.
