Brush and Pencil developed the Advanced Colored Pencil Fixatives for colored pencil artists. Both of the fixative sprays are non-yellowing and non-darkening.
Texture Fixative is essential if you burnish a lot or sometimes forget to draw details. It’s a lifesaver when it comes to adding color to areas that are slick with too many layers.You can also use Texture Fixative when adding color to dark backgrounds for ”dark to light” and ”light to dark” work.The spray dries fast and protects covered layers from water, alcohol, and odorless mineral spirits.
Once you have finished your drawing, you should protect it with a coat of Advanced Colored Pencil Final Fixative. The Final Fixative spray adds an extra layer of UV protection. Both Textured Fixative and Final Fixative are archival, UV-resistant, and fast-drying.
Please note:You should only use these fixatives on rigid (non-flexible) surfaces. Both of the sprays harden once dry.
