Shaped to Bob Ross’ precise specifications, Bob Ross Hog Bristle Brushes feature 100% natural hog filaments and are ideal for achieving a wide range of techniques with the wet-on-wet oil painting technique. Each brush in the line features a smooth, white lacquered handle constructed from FSC certified, sustainably sourced birch wood.
The #3 and #6 Fan Brushes are perfect for creating natural shapes and details, including clouds, mountains, tree trunks, foothills, boats, soft grassy areas, and other effects commonly depicted in landscapes. These long-handled brushes have nickel-plated brass ferrules to protect the handle and help maintain filament shape and quality.
The 1″ Oval Brush has a short handle and brass ferrule. It’s ideal for painting evergreen trees and foothills, or for highlighting trees and bushes.
The 3/4″ and 1/2″ Wildlife Bristle Brushes were developed to enable artists to accurately paint the fur, eyes, whiskers, and tails of animals. They have short handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.
The #6 Bristle Filbert Brush is a long handled brush that’s ideal for seascapes, but can also be used for tree trunks or other fine detail work. It has a nickel-plated brass ferrule.
