Black Mountain Clear Gloss Medium is formulated to extend acrylic colors while maintaining the integrity of your paint. Unlike water which can weaken and destabilize acrylics, gloss medium maintains paint bonds at a chemical level while adding a gloss finish. Mix it with heavy body paints to create thin transparent glazes. Experiment with different ratios to find the color and consistency you prefer.
Clear gloss medium can also be used to minimize brush strokes, transfer laser-printed images, or glue down a mixed-media collage. Once your painting is dry, apply a top coat of Black Mountain Clear Gloss Medium for an even finish.
