Each BEST Easel is made of American Red Oak, sanded to a smooth surface, then hand rubbed with oil to reveal the inherent beauty of the wood grain. Only the highest quality hardware is used as these easels are built to last a lifetime.
Although designed for the portrait painter, it is a valuable tool for any painter. This easel will slant forward or backward. Its height is adjustable by the simple turn of a crank that is secured to a pulley system.
