Bellencre Antique Dry Powder Ink in Black or Violet

This is antique French Bellencre dry ink is a rare find.  It is powdered ink that comes in individual boxes from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Acquired in Normandy, France from a 94 year old print shop owner.  This ink is a great gift for collectors of vintage supplies, or antique packaging fans. Available in Black or Violet.  Size 1.125″ x .875″

Directions as translated from the box: Pour the powder into a bottle/container (sold separately) and add a very small amount of hot water into the powder and mix with a toothpick. Gradually add more hot water to the ink bottle till you get the shade that works for you.
