100% cotton – Made on a cylinder mould!
The crisp white 140lb (300gsm) paper is dimensionally stable and provides a smooth level surface perfect for serigraphy, etching, or lithography. Arches 88 is a 100% cotton fiber paper that is acid-free and pH neutral. Each sheet of paper is watermarked and has four natural deckle edges. Because the paper is unsized, it is unforgiving, so a single ink spot or splatter will show up. This paper has many of the characteristics of blotter paper and must be handled with purpose and sensitivity. When working in intaglio, a misting or dampening is all that is required.
