Maybe all hearts would be happier if they kept the spirit of Christmas all year long. At least it is a very dear thought. And I’ve always remembered that Santa Claus began with St. Nicolas.
When we were travelling through the Scandinavian counties I loved to stop in and visit the St Nicolas churches in Denmark. When you opened their door there was a very large, beautiful wooden sailing ship hanging over the entry. In Holland, he arrives on a saling ship.
Bundles – There are two bundle options available. Bundle #1 – The 16″ plate + pattern packet. Or, Bundle #2 – the plate, packet AND online class on face painting (save 50% on the class). This plate uses techniques shown in the online videos.
Please Note: Bundle/Unfinished Plate does NOT include decorative wood heart. Ours was found at a trade show and many different versions are easily available. You may also choose to not have one on your plate and just continue the border.

1/4″,1/2″, 3/4″ Oval Wash – I love these brushes for blending
#8 or #10 Oval Dry Brush – Strokes on hair, beard, patting on fur edges of cap.
Old brush – Applying Retarder Medium
3/4″ Mop – Blending out Retarder and glazes.
Small piece of sponge (natural or synthetic) or use an old bristle brush to softly sponge edge
