Holbein Extra-Fine Artsts’ Oil Color Zinc White when compared to Silver (lead) White is brighter, more transparent, yet the surface qualities are more brittle. It does not have the same brushing qualities, and is slower drying. It is non-toxic and will not react to sulfur.
