The best-selling Pastelmat, known for it’s velvety surface, is now available in a grain version. There’s no need to spray layers of fixative when working on Pastelgrain papers. Pastels adhere so well to the surface that you can apply several layers without the colors becoming too saturated or muddy. Intense cellulose fibers grab broken pastel pigments and pull them deep into the surface for an almost dust-free experience. It’s so versatile that, in addition to pastel and pastel pencils, Pastelgrain will support most dry and wet media, including gouache.
