For over 70 years, artists have used Yasutomo’s finely ground semi-opaque watercolors to paint traditional Japanese watercolor scenes. The watercolors are highly pigmented and work exceptionally well on absorbent rice papers.

These unique watercolors can be used alone, in combination with Sumi-e ink, or with Western watercolors. Authentic Japanese watercolors are excellent for calligraphy, rubber stamping, card making, and paper crafts.
