Description
Schmincke Acrylic Gesso is a white, semi-transparent gesso-primer suitable for use with oil colors, acrylic colors, and pastels. Designed to be applied in thin layers, it can be applied undiluted or diluted with up to 10% water, drying to a flexible, matte, highly absorbent film with a surface similar to half-chalk grounds. It can also be tinted with acrylic colors to create colored grounds. Once dry, it provides linen and other surfaces with a lightfast, water-resistant finish that protects against the harms caused by age, light, and moisture.
