PL11. Blackwing Pencils (12 pack) These premium pencils for writing and drawing have been a hit at recent conferences. The leads from Japan are very smooth. A brass ferrule holds the replaceable erasers, the clip allows you to vary the eraser length.

Choose:
Blackwing Matte: The original pencil, with the softest lead, black body, and black eraser. Ideal for illustrators and musicians who prefer a soft, dark line. This version is now labelled “Blackwing Matte” (previously it was labelled “Palomino – Blackwing”).

602: The most firm, with a gray body and pink eraser. Features a firm and smooth graphite core that is ideal for writers and everyday users. The New York Times rates it the “best overall performer among the pencils” they tested!

Pearl: Features a pearl white finish, gold imprint, white eraser and a balanced and smooth graphite core that is softer than the graphite found in the Palomino Blackwing 602.

It’s made of incense cedar . . . and it’s the only pencil we tested with a replaceable eraser (which, unlike most pencil erasers, has a rectangular shape that enables more detailed erasing). Its hexagonal body has slightly rounded corners, making it more comfortable to write with than most pencils, and it’s glazed in a velvety, dark-silver paint.”
