OPEN Gels and Mediums are compatible with Golden Heavy Body and Fluid Acrylic colors, as well as regular acrylic gels and mediums, and will increase open time while altering their consistency.
OPEN Acrylic Gel (Gloss/Matte) is used to extend Golden OPEN Slow-Drying Colors while maintaining their working properties. They can also be used to slow down fast-drying acrylic colors as a blending or glazing medium.
About OPEN Acrylic Gel: Gloss and Matte
OPEN Acrylic Gel in Gloss and Matte have a slightly softer feel than Regular Gel (Gloss) and the same consistency as OPEN colors. It can be used for glazes and to extend the paints while maintaining the working properties of OPEN acrylics.
