Marabu Mixed Media Art Crayons are a light-fast buttery smooth, richly pigmented wax based pastel. The color is delivered in a lipstick style retractable holder. It will blend similarly to a high quality oil pastel and is water soluble. Marabu Mixed Media Art Crayons work well on gesso, canvas, wood, plaster, bisque fired clay most absorbent or semi absorbent surfaces including paper and does not leave an oily residue or require glassine to protect the image once cured. Marabu Mixed Media Art Crayons are water-soluble and re-workable up to 3- 6 hours after application and will be fully cured within 24hrs. Marabu Mixed Media Art Crayons can be brushed for a watercolor effect if desired (Synthetic or Synthetic natural fiber blend brushes are recommended) and colors blend easily.
