Galkyd Lite Gel (formerly called Neo Megilp) is a soft, light, moderate-drying painting medium. The gel increases the transparency and flow of oils while imparting a smooth, silky feel. It has a moderate dry time rate of 3-4 days and remains workable for hours. Unlike the other Galkyd mediums, Galkyd Lite Gel gives colors a satin gloss rather than a high gloss finish. Galkyd Lite Gel makes slightly thicker layers that retain texture. It is formulated with Gamsol and is a favorite for transparent glazing techniques.
