The Richeson Grey Matters line is built on the simple, yet often overlooked concept that nothing should stand between the artist and the canvas. Grey Matters Pocket brushes were created with the plein air and urban artist in mind. They are convenient for travel because of their compact size and protected brush heads. Like all Grey Matters brushes, they are a neutral grey with non-reflective hair, ferrule and handles to distract the artist and minimal color distortion.
Only the highest quality synthetic filaments are used in our Grey Matters watercolor brushes, they are suitable for all types of water media. With multiple filament types, it’s easy to achieve the highest loading ability, snap, and point or chisel.
